That was a blatant LIE. I too have bronchitis and it takes one to know one. The woman has zero symptoms. Plus Bronchitis doesn't destroy your voice, it only reduces its power and volume temporarily.

I believe she was being honest. Her tour starts soon and it's important to not hurt your voice when you're gonna be touring for the next six months

Rihanna doesn't lipsynch unlike some favs. If she had, then there would have been a issue there as well. If any medical professional had told you favs to sit down for health reasons, I'm sure you would have understood and supported the decision. Rih was sick pure and simple. She's never been afraid to perform at a awards show and sure she would have been perfect at this one as well. I just hope she gets well soon and follows all of the doctor's orders.

Not now. But she has done in the past. And there's nothing wrong with pre-recorded vocals. She relies on a backing track quite often too, so there would be no real difference. Also I know my fave's vocals, and you CANNOT tell me that AOL 2010 sessions were not at least tampered with. She could have just pulled that again. I'm sure they had a KIB pre-record somewhere.
Um of course. I stayed up till 3am waiting for her to perform until word came that she cancelled. The least she could have done for everyone who tuned in solely for her was go out there and just lip it (or let a backing singer do most of the work). She's not known for being the greatest singer around. She's known for good music and semi-energetic performances.
