If Katy had released 1989...
...do you think she would've snatched any Grammys? The album is basically 'Teenage Dream' 3.0, only more guitar-driven, so she could've released something like it. Discuss.

It'd be panned, a 50 on Metacritic, no Grammy noms etc.

Wouldn't work because the songs don't relate to Her life.

If Katy had release ~ so unnecessary. Sorry Katy just can't make the album as good as 1989.

The critics will see the name of Katy and they will give her a low score no matter what.
She would get a few Grammy nominations and she will lose them all.

I don't what "basic" is but if you meant "average" by it then 1989 is epitome of that.

She wouldn't win, even with same level of success. Taylor campaigned hard for the award and she has all of Nashville voting for her

Lmao no. If anyone recorded 1989, it'd be seen as a mediocre pop album.

No. She would get a few noms maybe but no award for sure. She is no Grammy darling.

She would have 43 on metacritic seriously
, a bunch of noms but not a single win per usual.
