Welcome to the new fantasy version of The Walking Dead, where reality no longer exists. Expect lots of Power Rangers type of fighting and killing, Glenn will continue to cheat death and make all the viewers just a tad stupider, Carol is the modern version of Zena, Michonne is the mythical, katana master zombie slayer, Daryl will continue to ride his bike, look bad ass and blow things up like 007 or something.
I feel like that line in the last episode was the writers way of telling us this show is jumping ship. How else would you explain it? Rick wanted to show Carl the New World and make it a reality free show? Like, what?

I screamed at Jessie's entire family being taken out like that
The only one i'll miss is Ron because he was so hot. But all 3 of them were terrible characters so its a win I guess.
The scene where they all went out to fight the walkers made me scream too. Eugene and Gabriel suddenly turning into pro zombie hunters
Also, it's pretty clear that the writers are using the Alexandria residents as fodder for the dramatic deaths. I wouldn't even mind if they made it feel like people from Rick's group are ever in danger but they don't

i think the episode deffs was great but not in the who series.
lastly gabriel looked so good. i would deffs get on my knees and pray with his bald head for my eternal pleasure.

This I didn't understand, they just completely skipped over this. Other than that it was a near perfect episode.

What a messy, boring episode. I feel like nothing is adding up this season and it's all very random.
As someone said, what about the kid calling for his mom as soon as they left the house? Are we supposed to believe Maggie just hung up on those rafters until Glenn was finished preaching to Enid? What was the whole point of Negan?! BEYOND pointless and a waste of time.
Ugh, idk. It's not as compelling to watch anymore and I feel like it's full of anti-climaxes now.

Yeah what was the point of them making it such a dramatic ass cliffhanger if they were just going to ignore it

There were moments of true greatness but overall, this has turn into a fantasy show and i'm hating it. The way they showed everyone fighting the zombies, with the black background. Like, this isn't Mortal Combat

Yes, and then he said 'I want to make it a reality free show'. Or something like that, it wasn't that clear.

I was half expecting Sam to be killed so I wasn't that shocked when he died.
I still thought that it might have been a false alarm though when he started panicking.
But when Jessie was taken out so swiftly RIGHT AFTER that totally caught me off guard.
My heart.

No. This is exactly what he said:
Quote:
I want to show you the new world, Carl. I want to make it a reality for you. Please, Carl... let me show you. Plea-- please, son, don't die.
|
Why would he reference the/a show in his dialogue, dd
