Some of you guys are so bitter, it's hilarious. Getting nominated for a Grammy means you're worthy. Just because you don't like who won doesn't mean they were worthy, it's not like the ****ing Wiggles won.
1. The Grammys are not racist. There were black people in like every single segment and nearly every presenter Did you not see a BLACK WOMAN win for Rock album? Like come on.
2. Taylor's speech was better than any diss that Kanye's ever done.
I just can't at TPAB, one of the most critically acclaimed albums EVER, losing to 1989. Remarkable.
I just remember that article with a member of the academy saying TPAB wasn't commercial enough because it had jazz. I mean the album that influenced David Bowie's own work. Mess.
It sold more copies. It was a big era and its Taylor Swift. It's politics.
Well, I am aware it's politics, but there is no reason to have awards given out for the most commercial album when they should reward artistic excellence.
In that case, we can have the Nielsen Soundscan Awards not Grammys.
Do you not remember when MBDTF wasn't even nominated? Like critically acclaimed isn't the only factor in AOTY. It's that plus commercial success. Taylor had BOTH. Kendrick had only the critics - JUST LIKE MBDTF!!!!!
