I'll share the results here. I know it gives the competition less transparency, but I think it's easier, and people will more likely participate.

The results are in for week 2, and though victory slipped through her fingers last time, Kelly Clarkson was finally victorious. The results were not even close, with "Already Gone" taking the majority of the first place votes. Surprising, Shakira placed second. Though "Meet Me Halfway" and "Funhouse" actually split all the runner-up votes, Shakira's one winning ballot was enough to push her over the edge. "Sexy Chick" was the only other song to get any first place votes, but was all over the map on the remaining ballots, and fell to last place. (the results)

I guess this competition is always going to be the same couple of people voting, so to make it easier, I'm just going to move back to voting in the thread only for now. Some interesting tidbits about the results: "Meet Me Halfway" and "Already Gone" were both two-time finalists, but when they faced off this round, Kelly crushed the Peas. I guess "Already Gone" is Pop 40 Showdown's juggernaut. Meanwhile, "Tik Tok" unanimously defeated "Do You Remember." We haven't had such a big defeat in a while. Can Lady Gaga stand up to Kesha?
