I do like The Revenant more than most BP nominees (only liked Room more but that has no chance at winning) so I'd be cool with it winning. lol if Spotlight wins none.
and here I was thinking the Academy became progressive...apparently not. We're back to boring Oscar baits. Miller deserved best director more than anyone.
The Best picture still isn't clear but I still have my money on Spotlight winning tho. It's a shame Miller is probably losing The Oscar but The Revenant was a technical achievement plus Alejandro is Mexican so I'm not too angry about it.
I stil don't see Tge Revenant winning BP so it's between Spotlight and TBS
The obvious Screenplay frontrunners Big Short and Spotlight win WGA awards.
I mean, Mad Max and Revenant aren't even Writing nominees, so...
The more important part of tonight: Mad Men wins its 4th Drama Series WGA because talent always wins.
The only two 21st century dramas to win all the major guilds are MM & Breaking Bad; hail AMC.
