"I'm still working on the album, I put out the Tringle a few months ago and that was a great re-introduction onto the scene, and it was kinda warming things up, and now I'm writing with some amazing people, with Justin Tranter, Rock Mafia, finishing up the album, it feels like a never ending story but we're figuring out what the first single's gonna be off the album, and you know, it has to come this year"
I hope so, and I love the fact that she feels like the Tringle was more of a standalone EP rather than "three singles".
I hope the proper album rollout will be better with the Tringle thing! She needs to get her name out again in the public with TV guestings and performances. Atlantic and her management better do it right
I'm pretty sure it won't be the lead, she's been working with some amazing producers lately so I'm sure she can come up with something even better than Good Thing.
I don't care who she works with I just want to get a damn album. As long as I get good thing, body guard and someone leaks play this twice I will be happy.
Also I think background will try to release jumping trains on iTunes since they own that music aka a xtina just be free. I want to hear elsewhere.
Why is she running the opposite direction of her fan base. I don't get it anymore.
This. She could at least put out something that her fans like or what they're familiar with. She's trying to change her sound too much. I think her label in her ear.

She can't do her teen sound however, it would sound dated. Let her follow the mainstream. She needs a hit as soon as possible.
She said the reason the album was taking too long was because she felt it didn't have enough rnb and soul and she wanted to give the fans that. Be patient cause she's gonna cater to all
She got signed to Atlantic in December 2013, it is now February 2016. Still no album, and she's still recording. It has been 10 years since The High Road. We have all been very patient, but this is borderline ridiculous.
