We aren't done with Desolate Street just yet! This mess of a b-side is actually double the trouble, mashing up Pretty Boy and Fast Girls, yet unable to even match its parent song. It's interesting to hear a mashup way back when but taking into account that neither of the songs involved are spectacular anyway and that it's a generally awkward mix, there's only so much to be said. It was included on the Design of a Decade bonus disc over ten years later though. Yes, the album may be missing Again, If, Anytime, Anyplace and You Want This, but hey: French Blue!
Auburn is perplexed, "If someone could explain the point of this that would be great, thanks!", me too girl. Once again, Disaster Street's lone stan
Aerosol is looking on the bright side, "A mashup in 1984? Pretty Boy AND Fast Girls in one song? Yes, please.", that sounds a bit like a threat.

Now, jumping from awkward beginnings to even more awkward currents, it's the
other punching bag of the rate: Discipline! For someone who's tried to stand up for the album, this is just unacceptable. This place is wholly deserved for her, a sickly sweet and boring ballad(?) that stands out as a stain even next to other tracks on this album, now that must be an achievement. It's not even appallingly bad, just completely bland and uninteresting. Enough, Janet.
The very generous
eli's_rhythm awards this a 3 "only because she had it on the tour", yes, was really nice of her to give us all a bathroom break.
Auburn calls it a "tragic midtempo ballad with no flavor. This is faceless. Like the rest of this album." Ki.
Aerosol advises Janet on "those lyrics. "If something is broke, let me go and fix it." Yes, do that." Kii. Leaving all wit and humour aside,
Vilppu plainly tells her "please, just shut up." Kiii.
That's it, three strikes and you're out, time to letchu go after all.
