Good news for Frozen fans shivering with anticipation for the Broadway musical: A timeline has been set.
Disney Theatrical Productions on Tuesday announced over its @FrozenBroadway Twitter feed that the show will open in New York in spring 2018, joining stablemates Aladdin and The Lion King.
As previously announced, the stage musical will reunite the core creative team behind the smash 2013 movie, including writer Jennifer Lee (who also co-directed the screen version) and composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who won the 2014 Academy Award for best original song for "Let It Go." The film also won the Oscar for best animated feature.
