There are so many websites and Instagram accounts that go through dissecting every outfit she wears. There was definitely a big increase in the number of press inquiries coming through after the shoot came out, [when I was] coming straight out of school.

What was the immediate aftermath like? Did you see an uptick in people reaching out for more information or to purchase your work? The immediate aftermath was social media, for the first hour or so. Then, after about 12 hours, a lot of business (sales and inquiries).
Did you see an increase in sales specifically on the style(s) she wore? There was substantial increase.

What do you see as having been the long-term impact on your business? In terms of long-term impact, I can only see it as a good sign. If something is Rihanna-approved, it’s said to have the effect of magic dust sprinkled upon you. We shall see how Spring sales and next season go . . .
