Honestly, when looking at pop stars that tried to replicate Katy's success with teenage dream it's becoming obvious that such feat(scoring 5 number ones) is nigh impossible for anyone including legends.
People were expecting Taylor to shatter Katy's record but she fell short of her target. Adele the megastar that broke all kind of possible records couldn't achieve what Katy did despite promising start. She is struggling with her second single.
Katy still remains the only women who outdone Michael and tied him with the biggest record in history.
It helped that during the time when she was achieving this record her album was barely 2x platinum, which wasn't the case for the true megastars you mentioned, Taylor and Adele
And I don't think think that's the biggest record in history. it's huge for sure, but I think some of Adele's records, for example, are bigger than that one.
