Their "friendship" is so weird and forced. Just because the incident happened they always need to praise and be awkwardly friendly with each other to show there's no beef. It always felt fake. In a way I'm not surprised/don't care about the lyrics because they are partially true and there's no need for them to continue this fake friendship for the rest of their lives.

However, I'm annoyed asf at the same time. Whatever the reason for their relationship, PR, genuine or one sided, they've clearly been going out of their way to prove something to people and then he turns around and contradicts himself completely. It was uncalled for and in the end is going to hurt both of them.
