Ehh... kinda. I mean she was already mega successful before that, but that incident did really put her name out there, which in turn opened more doors. I equate the impact of that situation with that of the Chris Brown/Rihanna domestic abuse incident. Rihanna was already famous and successful, but she became even bigger after and her name was more out there.
