Anyway if we are not counting Modetn Family, I say GOT. If we are then Modern Family is the clear winner IMO. It has gone down in recent times bu for years after it premiered you could not watch an awards show without seeing Modern Family win something, it made Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson & Eric Stonestreet household names, did a huge job in advancing gay rights & nuclear families & adoption processes in the public eye... I could go on and on.
GOT on the other hand comes with a LOT of complaints from book readers, and even the author has distanced himself from it because he doesn't like the direction the shows going, and let's face it, we all watch it for the 9th episode. It's close, but Modern Family has done more.
