So, Azealia makes it VERY clear that Bey embracing her blackness is why the white feminist world turned on her. Seeing as this is clearly a response to the Formation controversy, it implies that Beyonce had white feminists backing her and did not embrace her blackness.

The words "as soon as" also strongly imply Beyonce had not done it in the past. Those words are used when something happened for the first time, or something uncommon has occurred, NOT for when someone regularly does something.
