I think that you should only use facial hair if you have ugly features to hide. A cute guy always looks better without a beard tho.

********, yes it helps if you are fug ( can make a 4 to a 6 for me) but it all comes to personal preferences.
I love beards, and being clean shaven is my biggest turn off.
