She's not a hypocrite. Just because she wore a straight wig doesn't mean she's trying to be white. There are certain beauty standards in our society. This is kinda similar to the message of Pretty Hurts. Perfection is the disease of a nation and no one's immune to it, not even herself. And she never had a nose job or bleached her skin, those are nothing more than rumors.
The thing is she's now trying so speak against racism in her song to try to change things, which is why she's wearing more naturally black hairstyles nowadays.
Our society has created certain beauty standards that glorify white features. When black people don't fit those standards they are called ugly and when they do they are "trying to be white" and are "hypocrites". It really makes no sense.
