Getting the references doesn't make the thing better. I mean, no one is questioning her artistry which is the product of a very clever intellect, and I personally doesn't think she should change her style if that's what she finds good for herself, but I personally find 6 minutes of the same shot doesn't add anything. It could have been 2 minutes and it would have been more beautiful. But that's just
imo.
And btw, Lana is the opposite of being pretentious as an artist, why do you have to go against her with this flop-hipster comment?
She should've just put the Freak audio into the UV video instead of re-editing it like this, it makes no sense and the transitions are poorly done. If this was edited good it could be her best video since Tropico.
