If you're not sure whether a thread is allowed, just post it. It will be closed if the moderators believe it does not have enough news value. You will only be warned if you post such threads frequently.
I think it's dumb tbh. Or at least it would be better if we had another place to post them. Another section or even an all-encompassing thread or something.

I mean the threads never affected me, I kinda just looked past them if they were someone I didn't care about. I also don't get how people can find the vulgar posts in those threads annoying.
A bit silly/extreme with the rules -- I miss the major celeb candid/pap shots threads and don't care to go through a huge non-dedicated thread having to scroll through pages of comments to see pictures. But chicken and egg thing considering some people will relentlessly spam useless b-z list celeb gym/bathroom selfies and I certainly don't miss weeding through those, either.
