The cast of The CW’s Archie comics-inspired Riverdale is looking suite.
Former Disney Channel star Cole Sprouse — (...) — has been cast as Jughead, our sister site Deadline reports. Riverdale’s Jughead Jones is Archie’s former best friend; their de-friending remains a sore subject between them.
(There’s no word yet on whether Riverdale‘s Judghead will be asexual, as revealed in a recent Archie comic, though his initial character breakdown states that he could be hearing-impaired.)
Sprouse promptly celebrated the news of his casting on Twitter:
