It's funny that Beyoncé is accused of not caring about black rights yet Rihanna who has done nothing but American Oxygen which wasn't even directly about black rights but a had a vague "world peace" thematic (she's not that ambitious) gets NO **** whatsoever. I guess no one really expects that kind of opinion from her since she's so simple.

American Oxygen was broad yes, but it did touch on racism (only in the video). However, Rihanna didn't have caps and shirts with "Breath In, Breath Out" on standby when she released it. Plus Rihanna speaks on a personal matter on the song, it would have been pretentious of her to speak for Black Americans when she isn't one.
