Stephanie's housemates quizzed her about the ex-One Direction star, who she dated for five months.
She revealed it was his bandmate Niall Horan who set them up.
But Stephanie claimed it "started to go downhill" because of his fame
She said: “We became boyfriend and girlfriend, then it started going downhill.
"If we wanted to go the Asda and get some food we’d have to wait till 4am and even if we went there would be girls there.
“I ended it with him because at the time I was oblivious to that world. I remember I was out in town in Alma de Cuba with the girls and he kept calling me and I changed my number so he couldn't get hold of me.”
Stephanie told how she and Zayn had chatted on the phone while she sat in the canteen at Lime Pictures and arranged their first date.
The 22-year-old also said she couldn't believe it took the singer until March last year to leave One Direction.
She explained: “He wasn’t happy when I was going out with him, he wanted to get out– I can’t believe he stuck it out for that long.”
Before entering the CBB house, Stephanie insisted she would keep tight lipped about the 1D singer.
In an interview conducted by Channel 5, she said: “I’m not about to spill the beans [on me and Zayn] it was years ago, I don’t know why people are still bothered.”
She added: “Zayn is a good guy and I’ve not a bad word to say about him, and I know he’s not got a bad word to say about me."
However just days after the series started, Stephanie was forced to spill the beans during a task.
The Prescot actress told her housemates: "It was four, five years ago. We were young, it was puppy love. We had a great time, and yeah, he's a good lad".
I remember her saying this on the show. She's so lucky she gets to date all these hot men. I still can't believe she cheated on Sam and she still gets to have flawless Jeremy. It's not fair
