Adele's song Hello helps to 'normalize' sexual harassment, says The University of Oklahoma’s Gender + Equality Center.
The group have circulated a series of posters around campus citing the verse: 'I must have called a thousand times'.
Kathy Moxley, Director of the Gender + Equality Center, told FOX411, the poster was designed to raise awareness during 'Stalking Awareness Month'.
She added that posters were designed to 'begin a much needed conversation about harassment on college campuses' and to 'bring awareness to subtle messages in popular song lyrics'.
The posters' slogan reads: 'Even great songs can normalize sexual harassment'.
And it wasn't just Adele that was in the firing line.
A second poster drew attention to Maroon 5's lyrics: 'Baby, I'm preying on you tonight. Hunt you down eat you alive' from song Animals.
