No me and my generation (like Lorde) grew up seeing her as some crazy bald lady attacking a car with an umbrella. That image will never go away, sorry.
I love the good sis Britney. I feel like she makes fun, cute and meaningless pop songs and that works for her. Idk if she could ever do like a Beyonce and make a song about social issues... Like it would be odd.
Basically I respect Britney, I think her previous work has cemented her as an icon and now she can skate by doing minimal work which isn't a bad thing, she's paid her dues.
I feel like people who don't respect her don't because they expect way more from her...
I do, mostly because of the amazing performer she used to be.
I accept that she's doing her thing on the side, she's not below not ahead... somewhere in the middle.
