Exactly, if Sia who nobody in the US knew who she was, had success on her own, why can't Katy do it. I mean, more people know her, it would be easier to promote her music. What is she afraid of? This is why I don't respect her music. And frankly, it's embarrassing that she attends the Grammys every year thinking she can win one with that music.
Beyonce didnt seem nearly as talked about during IASF era. Maybe it is because she got more controversial.
