Yeh unfortunately, it means it has spread in the body via the blood stream. Stage 4 is essentially terminal. Cancer sucks

So sad..i love Ang!
My aunt is dying of stage 4 lung cancer but having treatment to hopefully prolong her life...stage 4 is basically the end of the line..the best hope is treatment to prolong life as much as possible and lessen the suffering.
