Instead, liberal media has completely ignored it unlike other off hand comments people like Trump made about mexicans and muslims.
This man attended an event that revolved around anti-gay policy making including a genocide call to arms against them. Media was dead silent other than Maddow.
Liberals asked one or two questions and went home. I wouldn't even call that partly attempting their due diligence as reporters. They just didn't care to press the issue and accepted that candidates supporting such trash was ok to ignore.

You're still doing the same thing. Attending a conference set up by another person who spews violent anti-gay rhetoric is
not the same thing as the actual candidate saying it. Neither Cruz, Jindal nor Hubackee would ever dare say those same things as Swanson said about killing gays because "liberal media" would eat it up and destroy them. And the Trump comparison is ridiculous. Everyone (including conservatives and not just liberals) responded to Trump's about Mexicans because he said them himself and because they were outrageous.
And no, liberals did not just ask "one or two questions and went home." They're the ones who covered this and the reason why you learned about it and were able to embed that video in the first post. They're the ones who forced Cruz and Huckabee to actually do damage control when reporters told them about Swanson's previous quotes about killing gay people.
In any case, the rhetoric you're pushing is just ridiculous. "Liberal media" does not care more about Muslims or Hispanics than gays no matter how you try to spin this. It's clear that you're conservative except conveniently liberal for LGBT issues because it affects you. Your posts read like illogical, conservative blog nonsense. Try to be objective instead of emotional.
