Most religions acted on the basis that sex was sinful and should only be used for procreation. Since same-sex intercourse has no possibility of bearing a child, there was no way to rationalize it other than being pleasurable and thus sinful.
The known Abrahamic religions in particular were created in middle ages in the middle east (where it's known for men to be masculine, in which being gay is not). Even without religion, gays were still being oppressed and misunderstood. People thought of them as being "wrong" or "going against their nature", and religion has been carrying this ideology even till now. Homophobia is literally ancient and outdated. It's a backward and undeveloped way of thinking.

>rejects Abrahamic religion/god
>forms religion on Abrahamic character
Makes sense.
I actually agree with a lot of what Anton LaVey said, but I find that more often than not, Satanism is thrown around as an accessory by people that feel "oh so unique and edgy xD".
Maybe because of the lack of procreation. Or maybe because certain advancements in science and understanding hadn't been achieved yet. Soap, fleeting, isopropyl, penicillin, etc weren't around when CERTAIN religions came to be.
they're entitled to their homophiba just as we're entitled to eat
u have to respect the views of others
Not when gays are getting killed for their "views"/"lifestyles" etc. I don't care what they their views are but they need to accept our views and our life just like I accept everyone who is a muslim, christian etc. I don't agree with their religion but I would never attack or kill them nor would I make laws against them.
