Do you agree??? This "feud" between the stans is unnecessary. Their sound is different. Their brand is different. Their imagery is different. They're different kinds of pop stars and both fill a necessary niche of the field.


Gaga wouldnt be able to pull off Katy's anthemic summer bops and Katy can't pull off Gaga's darker themes and sound. This feud makes no sense to me, it's like comparing apples to oranges. You can sense the tension building up ALREADY as the inevitable comebacks of both of them are happening this year. Like I just recently posted a Katy thread and it was flooded by Gaga stans And I've already seen Katycats making threads about Gaga's hype for the superbowl.

I think it's fine.

Both are extremely talented, have had amazing careers, and are lucky to be still be highly relevant after nearly 10 years on top.

Of course their sound is different but that's what makes them good. I think most comparisons between the two are complimentary of each other though.

Just like most fanbase feuds it was started by one little incident and now they hate each other. It's lame cuz I don't even see them as competitive in anyway like you said. I feel bad for the kat/monster hybrids.

It's funny because it's so fictional. It's like both fanbases use Gaga/Katy to project their insecurities/anger on each other and the result is boring passive-aggressiveness. People are dying.

It's been old. And no matter how much Katy and Gaga will cordially get along with each other, it won't stop the stan wars at all. Their stans will keep going at each other for years, especially if their eras coincide again.
