So it should come as little surprise to fans of Noel Gallagher that the former Oasis guitarist has expressed a very forthright opinion on Adele and her global hit Hello.
Speaking to Jonathan Heaf for British GQ, the 48-year-old Mancunian confirmed that he was 'not a fan' of the chart-topper, before taking aim at her recent No.1 single, quipping: 'Hello? No, f**k off!'
And true to form, Noel didn't hold back when it came to explaining his dislike for the Rolling In The Deep hit-maker's music - even alluding to the fact her constant airplay on breakfast radio has put him off his morning bowl of cornflakes.
'Adele? I’m not a fan,' he opined, before showcasing his acidic sense of humour, saying: 'She always comes on the radio when I’m having my cornflakes: "Hello? No, f*** off!"'
Speaking to Music Feeds, he said: 'If someone wants to know what I think of Adele, I’ll f***ing tell them.
