I mean I get why people find skin color alteration controversial or whatever because lighter skin is superior to darker, and tan skin is "exotic", self-hate, etc. But personally I feel like people should be free to do whatever they want with their body.
It's basically the same as dying your hair color and no one minds when people do that.
If someone wants to be a lighter shade or a darker shade, more power to them. As long as it makes them happy, who cares?
