Last year when I started college, there was this boy who used to act around me in some way but not blatant. Me and him never really talked apart from the odd "Hello" or "Cool" when we saw each other.
There were sometimes where he would sit opposite me when we were all outside or he would just stare at me. I began to have a crush on him after that but I think he is straight.

I left the college in summer last year to do other stuff and I never saw him again after that which was June 2015. I really regret not talking to him despite that he was showing me the signs because I think that is what he wanted.

Up till this day, he would randomly pop up in my thoughts and there would be times after that where I can't get him out of my head. I have searched for him on Facebook, typed his name on Google and also his friend's name hoping I would find a social media page which him or his friend has. There were no results.

I just want to him see again and be friends with him. He is the first guy I have ever had a crush on in my entire life and I mostly have crushes on girls. Sometimes I would wander to myself thinking what is he doing or what is he up to and it sounds creepy. He probably wasn't interested in me like that.


Have any of you missed an opportunity or thought someone has liked you like this? I have put the main bits in bold.

I remember this one guy i met through one of my older friends at the time. His name was Jedi and honestly, he was cute. He was 31 (or 34, i forgot lol) and i barely turned 18. He was tall, pretty skinny, but god damn it I thought he was handsome as hell. So we were texting for a bit and then he asked if I wanted to hang out for a bit. So he picked me up on Friday night and we went over to his house for a bit and oh my god, the connection was crazy.

We could talk about EVERYTHING. He even made 21 questions fun and sexy. Then i spent the night (well, the whole weekend) and it was crazy good. Like, tbh idk if it was our connection, if he was older and settled, or what but i felt myself falling for him over the span of a weekend (). He was, truly perfect for me honestly. Then when he was taking me home, his car broke down and he had his friend toke me home (his friend was creepy as hell and gave me weirdo vibes).

Then after that, we texted on/off but we didn't hang out cause his car wasn't fixed. then i deleted his number on accident. then around later that year he texted me and we made plans but then he never got back to me. EVen though it's kinda not like your situation, i still know the feeling of a missed opportunity and it sucks. Yeah i think about it every once in a while but it's life. we deal with mess, get stronger, and keep it going. You'll be alright, i guarantee it.

Straight guys just don't constantly stare at you. There's like no good reason to. So when a "straight guy" starts staring at me consistently like that, I feel like there's something up.

Maybe he's that type of guy who's curious inside but too afraid to to blatantly make moves and or too afraid to admit that he could be interested in another guy yet you can still see things that imply he might be sending signs to you. Really weird situation. And then he probably gonna end up with a girlfriend in the end. If you really like him, maybe go find him and talk to him, make him comfortable as a friend first and then you can tell how he feels about you. Or just get over him and find another wonderful person.
