I currently work in retail, I don't know where my next move should be. I see people earning like $800 a week, and say they do nothing. I literally feel like I do so much for literally the bare minimum wage and it's only retail.

So where do you guys work? (Not specifically necessarily, but the field)

I don't want to do a trade or hard labor. I want a comfortable job, but I have no clue.

I work for the University of Michigan in one of their libraries currently
however in September I have an internship with Human Asia, which is a North Korean human rights organization in South Korea. my major at university is Human Rights and the internship is for 6 months so this will be great experience

I haven't started yet but I just accepted a job offer at a call center answering inbound calls for roadside assistance

Don't give up. You gotta apply for 100s of jobs a week and keep improving your resume and cover letter. Really take the time to perfect it by looking at effective online examples of them and copying their style. You might spend hours upon hours on your resume and CV. But so what? Your greatest potential resume is waiting for you and the rewards it will give you is great.

I got to tired of being out of work that I jumped right outa the square made my resume entirely visual. I spend all day utilizing my digital design skills to make a really neat visual resume, and when I submitted for more jobs after that was when I finally got heaps of callbacks and ultimately a good-paying job.

@ks_dollar You offer some really great advice. I always update my resume. My friends told me to go volunteer and stuff (since they can also be added to your resume).

My goal is to be self employed as well!!
