Not when the people who actually care about the game actually watch the National Anthem (since, you know, the game is about to start) while they drive to Pizza Hut during halftime
Hmm! Wasn't even gonna check out the SB this year. Not much of a football fan to begin with, but I like to watch the special commercials, and sometimes, the halftime show performers, but Coldplay's not my bag, and neither are their guests, but I might actually just tune in for the first 10 mins to watch Gaga, even if it is just for a national anthem that isn't for my nation.
Not surprised some people are fuming. Gaga is one of the few artists capable of performing both the National Anthem and the half time show (which she will likely be asked to do one day). Their faves would maybe be asked to do the halftime show where they can have pre-recorded vocals, guests and huge props to make a show, but never in a million years to do the anthem where only raw, true talent is showcased.
