It's a huge honor to be asked to perform the National Anthem at one of the biggest television events of the year.....it means that they believe in your talent and trust you as a very talented artist to do a great job with the singing anthem and honoring our country.

These comments are so pathetic. Gaga is joining a list of acclaimed, Grammy Award winning vocalists like Whitney Houston, Kelly Clarkson and Mariah Carey. The halftime show was headlined by university bands for decades, does that mean the halftime isn't an honor because of that? No. Both are great accomplishments, your petty shade is stale, three years old and weak.

singing the National Anthem at the SB is a difficult job, you need to be a great vocalist. not everyone is that.
