I know it's not going to happen, but it would have been a cool idea to do this, but with Mars.
Maybe like a smaller version so it doesn't take the whole stage or come up with a way to get rid of it, like opening it in two and having something inside.
She MIGHT do Let's Dance I don't think she'd do China Girl or anything else from that album because it'd upset Bowie fans. She's almost have to do Space Oddity or Life on Mars, I can see her doing Ashes to Ashes as well. Knowing them if the medley is huge enough it'd be a good span of his music in 7 minutes. We'll see how they pull it off.
I am not a huge fan of her music but I think both her fondness for spectacle as well as respect for the original artist and music itself will make for an excellent performance. I think I'll be tuning in just for this.

Watch her tribute to Julie Andrews. Gaga is weird as all hell but remarkably talented. Listen to all the work she has done with Tony Bennett too. You will have a whole new appreciation.

I actually love this. I think some people might have a negative gut reaction to it - since they still see her as a generic pop star. But Lady Gaga has proven - especially in the last 2 years or so - how vocally and musically talented she is. Besides that she's performed a number of tribute performances and been impressively respectful to the music first. Especially in this case I imagine, as she's always listed him as her single biggest influence, musically and stylistically.

I still can't believe some people refuse to believe Lady Gaga is a talented vocalist. Have you guys seen her Sound of Music tribute at the Oscars????

She's also a huge fan of Bowie, and when she first came out would constantly cite him as one of her references. She'll certainly do her best to do him justice, I think.
If I were to pick four "iconic" songs, that I think everyone should know for her to do, I'd say Let's Dance (a given since Nile's involved anyway), Life on Mars?, Starman and Heroes.
