We have no proof of both. When people buy into the whole Heaven and Hell thing, it's really not that bad if it helps them cope.

I remember reading a thread about this question online and many of the people answering were people whom had died and came back. Most of them said that when they died it was nothing. Like complete nothingness, that they didn't remember anything.

Death is just the beginning of the journey. A lot of us have most likely lived previous lives but depending on the life you've lived different things will happen. If you have attachments whether that be a person or property your soul will be doomed to walk among the mortals as a ghost in the lower rankings of the energy fields until you learn to let go of whatever is holding you here. If you lived a good life with a balanced growth of karmic energy you will go somewhere must higher for a matter of time. Before being reborn into a new body. And thanks to your good deeds in your life you will experience positivity. But theres always room to grow and if you continue to you will continue dying and being reborn until you reach angelic manifestation status.

Nothing.

If you've lived a bad life bad karma will always catch up to you. Theres various rankings of were our souls go once we die. The bad ones are in the lower region, not hell but it's not pleasant, it's not torture and theres no one hurting your soul or horned devil but it is not pleasant.

Our decomposing bodies provide life for other creatures, and then those animals die and provide life for other creatures. We are immortal

I really hope if you had cancer or something and you had to choose between a 'medical expert' in the old days (when the 'Holy' Book was written) and a professional of today, I hope you'd choose the former cause you believe teachings of the old are still relevant and hold weight in today's modern society. There's no 'soul'. There's nothing. You just go back to not being conscious.

I have been getting into death postivity a lot recently and it lowkey opened my eyes.

Nothing happens. You die. And then there is absolutely nothing. And it's quite beautiful. Resting in peace forever and decomposing.

Look up Ask A Mortician on YouTube, she is an author and alternative mortician and helped me out a lot with accepting death and she makes a lot of good points about death in our culture (especially western society) and death positivity.
