In response to this thread resulting in a resounding "no", I'm curious as to which other terms GLAAD has condemned are considered offensive by ATRLers.

The list includes:

- "homosexual relations/relationship/couple/sex" (preferred: "relationship", "couple", "gay couple", or "sex")
- "sexual preference" (preferred: "sexual orientation" or "orientation")
- "gay/homosexual lifestyle" (preferred: "gay lives" or "gay and lesbian lives")
- "admitted/avowed homosexual" (preferred: "openly lesbian/gay/bisexual" or "out")
- "gay/homosexual agenda" (preferred: accurate descriptions of the issues)
- "special rights" (preferred: "equal rights/protection")

-I think this is just rude to say to a transgender person period to some extent at least, but I don't see an issue with "biologically/genetically male/female." It's an objective fact, it doesn't mean the person is mentally or emotionally one and that there is anything wrong with being transgender
-Disagreed, partially because I am opposed to some of these laws of pre-op (as said, we need some way to distinguish here ) transgender people using the same bathroom/locker-room as the other gender (and I'm not really looking to discuss this, since i HAVE before) for a variety of reasons. Plus... the bill literally is about a bathroom and nothing else so I mean

"Special rights" is both offensive and just stupid.

These aren't really super offensive, just microagressions. I see there point.

EDIT: Actually "homosexual relationship" is annoyingly redundant too, if you say two guys are in a relationship most people will be able to figure out that it's a gay one

This is a good point, though I think there's cases where it has its purpose (campaigning for gay marriage), but people don't say "straight relationship"

Imo:

sexual preference (it's not just a preference)
gay / homosexual lifestyle (makes it sound like it's a choice)
admitted / avowed homosexual (maked it sound like it's bad)
gay / homosexual agenda
special rights (special?)
born a man/woman
