In this case the artist has promoted that "leak"/ free giveaway, it's like "take it all"
In a usual leak a lot of people don't know about it cause there isn't any promo about it.
A decent number. Especially with there not being any hits leading into the album, it only being available digitally, and is only up for streaming on TIDAL. OH, and enough to go #1.
Don't forget that the physical release is Feb 5.

it wasn't 460 in a day, i think it was from when itunes updated at around 11:10 to midnight because the cycle ends January 29th (i believe). so that was 50 minutes~ of sales

So I think the 460 is from a few hours on Wednesday and all day Thursday. So a little over a full day and she only sold 460 copies. And idc about the 1 million given away free thing. I highly doubt a million people actually downloaded the album. I think they counted every click on the link or stream of 1 song as part of the 1 million album sales.

Because Samsung bought a 1m copies. So that Platinum certification means nothing but a greedy deal with a corporation to make her album look successful when its not.
It wasn't greedy, it was a gift to her fans. It was the best gesture she could do considering how messy the roll-out was. Now we can move on and focus on the world tour
That would mean like 105-110k predicted sales? Better than I thought. Thought it would do about 80k. Sales should be constant for next week with the physical too
When you add up all of the circumstances and the messiness this album has endured before and during its release these are good numbers. You all need to stop acting up over nothing and getting dramatic.
