Me too. VMAs are supposed to nominate and award those videos that have impacted the world during the year. Hello, Hotline Bling and Sorry definitely deserve to be nominated.

While the video has an impressive amount of views, there's nothing about the visual itself that's groundbreaking or out of this world. If it does get nominated (or win), it'll either be due to the song, the amount of views, or Adele's name alone. Also, there's still a chance for another artist to one up that video, not that it'll be hard. As far as Drake, at least his video managed to produce some funny meme-worthy moments that went viral and weren't just used by stans/bandwagoners, despite the video not being all that great either.
