Fifteen of the best rising music stars have been named on the longlist for the BBC's Sound of 2010.
The list is designed to highlight the most exciting musical talent for the coming year and the artists have been picked by 165 UK-based tastemakers.
They each named their favourite three new acts and those with the most votes were put on the list. The top five and winner will be unveiled in January.
Little Boots, Adele and Mika are among the previous Sound of... winners.

I'm just thinking, I can't believe Florence never won last year. Her, GaGa, and Empire of the Sun were favourites to win. But it's good that Little Boots one, one of my favourite artists of 2009! Her album is Pop perfection!
^ Little Boots never lived up to the title. She has only had one minor hit. Obviously GaGa should have won... La Roux and Florence have had the most success out of the top 5 acts.
