ARTPOP is a crappy album and ANTI is a brilliant album. I like Gaga and had purchased her albums up until ARTPOP too... I do think that ARTPOP gets undeserved hate.
artpop has a lot of writers as well. i think anti is better,just riskier too, most people only know her from the calvin harris dance sound and a few hints of RnB here & there.
Art is subjective. Anything can be art. But since Gaga has explained the concept of the album numerous times, whether or not it makes complete sense, bringing art back into the music was the #1 purpose of the album. Whether or not you, or anyone thinks it did or not, the purpose was there, and many artists took note.
ANTi is honestly a better album. I'm a Gaga stan and I'm willing to admit this. ARTPOP lacks the professional polish and refinement of ANTi, as well as the carefully revised writing and production. It was more of an art project than anything else, and I'm glad she released it.

art is subjective to a degree I think, and ARTPOP was simply BAD art otherwise the overriding consensus would be otherwise
