How? They are a mainstream band. Their last album went top five and was a success in a few countries. They have major publications praising their work. They're very mainstream.
I will say this is one of the first covers I've heard where both the original and cover are comparable in terms of quality. But then again, they have the same beat, so... Anyway, it's easily one of the best songs on the album and fits her perfectly.
I don't understand what's great about it? It's the same track, except with Rihanna mumbling the lyrics. It would've been cool as a performance or something, but i just don't get why it's on her album.
