Zayn Malik has said he has grown tired of living a normal life away from the fame of One Direction.
Speaking to Capital FM, the former 1D star said, "[Being normal] worked out for about two weeks and I got bored of it".
"I don't think I could ever go back to being completely normal. I guess that's something I accepted, that this is as normal as it gets for me,"he added.
The news comes after Malik's decision to quit One Direction in March 2015, stating that he wanted to be "a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight".
The track, 'Pillowtalk', has shot to number one in over sixty countries and has become an instant hit on iTunes, currently sitting on top of the charts globally. The video has already amassed over 20 million views on YouTube.
