September 17, 2013 is a day that will always haunt me. I am not even kidding.
One of the worst days ever

I remember it so well

I went into school late because of it! I had to do SOO much to let my mom allow me to do that b/c we all swore she was going to perform (because BH and TMZ said so) and then when it was just a interview confirming something that we knew since SHAPE magazine, I was so embarrassed.
My mom was like "Are you serious? You stayed home for this??"
The fact that I remember the exact date is just meh. Such a low point for our fave and the army

omfg i just randomly got reminded of the day Britney was taken to the hospital. i remember watching her on the news (i live in ****ing turkey) and CRYING MY EYES OUT! my mom was right next to me, trying to calm me down and i'll never forget when she said to me "choose your friends wisely. look at her, i wonder where her so-called friends are now" and i started screaming because i thought of how lonely Brit has felt since day one i'm so proud of her.

Okay.. It was ignorant for me to say it was such a low point for us when 2007/early 2008 happened but i don't like to remember that. Plus it happened so long ago aswell

February 2007 will always haunt me.
That was the one time where I was ready to give up on her and then she did the unthinkable and I had to come back and make sure she was ok.
I wasn't even 1 year into my career and all of the young 20 somethings along with me were just quiet that monday.
It was like even the people that probably made fun of her just stopped and felt bad.

I was concerned but I was too young to really grasp what was going on

Well hopefully we won't have anymore low points to worry about

I do have stories of defending her in 2007 in Elementary school though

Yeah I could only imagine what a kid thought saying that or a kid hearing from their parents which often times has a slanted opinion.


I just remember coming back from partying and I took a nap for a few hours and woke up in the wee hours of the morning and looked on a forum with the topic in caps locks and then I went to x17 online and there I saw it.

I was sweating, frantic and panicking because I had just decided to give her up not even a few days prior when I saw a pic of her LOOKING A DISHEVELED mess swinging on a playground swing.

It was almost as if she ruined the comeback hype that was started and she kept partying till it was no longer defensible.


I honestly can't stomach 2007 I can even deal with early 2008...


It was like a flash.
2006 I graduated college, got my first career job and I remember living in this shoddy studio apartment and i didn't even want cable (I figured I'd be so busy I wouldn't care) and AS SOON as I saw that britney was being interviewed by Matt lauer I had to get cable because I knew other outlets would cover it. I didn't even last a week.

I felt bad for her but she seemed trapped then rebellion leaked sometime that year and I thought she'd be ready to leave him and she didn't.

Then I see x17 pics of her with her baby and pregnant in a red dress waiting for that guy she had kids with I FINALLY made myself like the song Crazy and then the next thing you know I hear rumors of them divorcing.

The world celebrated. The view celebrated. Everyone was praising her comeback appeal.
And then Nov/December 2006 happened. Paris and Lindsay.

I was the only one at that time that thought this was BAAAAAAD NEWS.

She shaves her head in Feb. At the time, my parents lived in the same state and I drove 2 hours away to be with my parents. I never mentioned it but they knew I was traumatized and then at the end they mention it.

E! news Britney Shears pops up on the television screen.

2006-2007 for me were tough years.

with scream and shout in between costume changes
I can see her taking away iconic hits like crazy and lucky but I would like Lucky included because she just isn't into crazy.

so u wanted to give up on her the time that she needed u ( the fans ) the most? mess

I think it's clear that Britney has an opening in March to save pop music.

Nope. She didn't need her fans more than she needed help and after promising to clean up her act she went back to her old ways.

Some people enable and others put their foot down. Some fans enable in the way of defending Britney Jean. Some fans put their foot down (still bought the album but won't defend it) so that their faves can strive for better. I'm the latter.

But when saw that hideous federline and timberlake photo and found out federline's friends were leaking information to tabloids.
