Yeah I can't believe we didn't get to post in this thread during that match.
Would have been iconic.

Congrats Angie! Really absorbed the pressure of the moment and made the most of Serena's mistakes.
In regards to Rena, she really needs to shake this off now and clear her mind for RG. She simply has to at the very least match Steffi and I'm getting a little concerned the monkey on the back is only gonna get bigger from here.
I'm sure she'll prove me wrong and win at least 2 of the last 3 slams of the year... hopefully.
Kerber slayed it with her defensive game, but tbh she would have lost if it wasn't for Serena's disastrous serving, I'm not sure we can give her all the credit.
This "Un momento" ******** lasting for hours, this site is a joke.

Congrats to the champion, Angie played awesomely, wasn't scared and just went for it.. an excellent enjoyable match and also what a great illustration of sportsmanship from both girls! Respect. I bet Rena ties Steffi either way

Kerber won more points on 1st serve compared to Rena. Her first serve was disastrous and lower % than what Serena had. So sorry, sis. This excuse does not fly. Serena was outplayed.
Djokovic will likely win more titles than Nadal now if Nadal can't make a comeback, and could very well surpass Federer in slams (and probably weeks at #1 too). I don't even like him but I kind of hope he does for the meltdowns.
I feel bad for Murray. He lost all of his slam finals to the two players who will go down as the best ever (if Djokovic keeps it up), so I don't think he's pathetic. When the current top players are all old/retired, there are going to be a few younger players who win 2 slams or more with ease, even if they're not a 10th as good a player as Murray is.
