The perfect top 4! But I think it's a bit early to put Rihanna at #2? She's only had 2 songs out this year, and 1 was a featured hit. The Black Eyed Peas should be at #2, and Jay-Z #3. Rihanna should still be top 10 though!

RiRi and Jay-Z?

Put Jay somewhere closer to the bottom of the top ten, say 7, and move Rihanna a little lower, around 5. Move the Black Eyed Peas up to #2 or #3 and put Britney in the top 5.

Is Britney R&B? No. She's pop. Jay-Z deserves his spot in the top 5.

Um hello, it's been all about Lady GaGa in '09. Her, Beyonce, and BEP are tops for sure. Rihanna's year was 2008, not this one so much.

I love the warning.

Just to make it clear, MTV Base is an Urban station. That is why artists such as Taylor Swift and Lady GaGa, and even Britney Spears haven't been mentioned. Plus it's a British channel, so it would be unlikely if Taylor Swift made the top 10 if it was a multi music station.

People, Britney/Gaga/Taylor Swift won't show in this list cause it's MTV Base, they usually play r'n'b/hip-hop songs, so, their artists will be r'n'b and hip-hop artist (or any other artist that might receive some "urban" support)...

Since when did GaGa become Urban?

She's obv. not gonna be on the list.
