Other cultures that dress in traditional Western looks are not criticized and no one cares about this either.

Totally disagree. I was watching this video with my Indian friends yesterday, and they thought it was quite stunning, but I had to tell them that they were filming during Holi because they were confused why Holi was in it. This video felt like it was a tribute to India's beauty and culture.

i guess you could technically call it appropriating, but it's really not the kind that harms anyone. and i highly doubt most people in india care, like at all. so no, i don't think this is really bad.

but i also think it's kind of hypocritical that a lot of people (at least as far as i've seen) that will scream appropriation at pretty much anything touching a culture at all (like gay people using the word "shade" or white people twerking) are saying this is ok, because it's beyonce. and beyonce is perfect and can't ever do anything wrong, i guess. i really don't understand why people will hate others so passionately for these kinds of things, but the minute it's someone they like, suddenly it doesn't matter anymore. really.

I swear. Two years ago people wouldn't have pretended to care about cultural appropriation.
