Now come on, you can't be serious. A cover should always put an artists' own spin on a song. Slapping your vocals on a pre-existing instrumental (and even worse, released on another artist's record not even a year ago) is straight up lazy and borderline embarrassing. That's not a cover, it's a copy.
Not gonna lie, she sounds fantastic on the song, though, and it's probably still my fave on the album.
