This is definitely her best album as a whole. It actually flows well and seems like a body of work, unlike her other albums (minus maybe Rated R). The standout moments (Love on The Brain, Desperado, & Higher) are the best of her career, but all the other songs are forgettable and the formula is the same as all her other albums. The desperation at trying to sound alternative in some of the songs is laughable. I'm especially confused about "Same Ol' Mistakes". Why would you put a song by another band on your album, when the era for the album it's from isn't even done yet? And she didn't even make any changes to it, so I'm guessing it was just another attempt to make her album sound "cooler". She should focus less on making sure every album has a "Stay" and "We Found Love", and focus more on just making great music, because it seems like the songs she had the most input in are the best. 5/10
